Queen Violeta Amazon Cruise

  • Queen Violeta has 16 cabins with floor-to-ceiling windows for Amazon viewing.

  • Plentiful, spacious public areas in which to relax.

  • Sadly, the QV is not currently offering tourist cruises … and it is not known if and when these will re-start.

The M/F Queen Violeta is a great option for those wanting to experience the Amazon River and its tributaries in comfort, without the costs associated with a luxury cruise.

Spacious throughout, with well-appointed cabins, she makes a great base from which to explore the protected rain forest of Peru, including the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve, one of the world's bio-diverse hotspots.

Accommodating up to 38 passengers with ease, the Queen Violeta offers the choice of an intense 4-day itinerary, sailing from Iquitos and disembarking in Nauta; or a more leisurely 7-day trip, beginning and ending in Iquitos.

With both, you start by navigating up the broad Amazon River, before heading into smaller tributaries in and around Pacaya-Samiria, in search of the abundant flora and fauna, and visiting indigenous communities that live in the area, in the company of expert local guides, with the passion and knowledge to make all visits memorable and informative.
